Aloke Pillai Co-Founder of Pastel HQ https://chachu.co Our Career Path  Through each of these presentations, I have noticed that there is never a clear career path. We may have a set goal in mind, but the journey towards that goal is different for everyone. Pillai goes through his career path with a set interest in mind, which is business and design. However, when he talks about his journey, he goes through different paths to further develop his skills. Such as joining internships, competitions and finally starting a business. What I found interesting is how he combined design with business. Pillai has also questioned how design would mix with business and through that question, he was able to create his own business that helps entrepreneurs on their design projects. Trip to the Weather Network

The Weather Network https://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca Starting our Tour Our trip to The Weather Network was quite fun and very informative. We also got to take a look at the behind-the-scenes of forecasters telling the weather behind a green screen! We also got an insight into the type of workplace environment we would be getting into. As we began the tour, everyone was really welcoming which helped set the tone of the overall tour. Getting to meet other workers there, as well as learning about their backstory was very informative. One person apparently had no experience whatsoever, but still got to where he is today! Then we were able to meet someone at our age that had more of a linear path, but also took different opportunities along the way. One thing that stuck with me is what the women said about taking every opportunity that comes our way, even if it is not what we are hoping for, one may come to like it.
