We also got to take a look at the behind-the-scenes of forecasters telling the weather behind a green screen! We also got an insight into the type of workplace environment we would be getting into. As we began the tour, everyone was really welcoming which helped set the tone of the overall tour. Getting to meet other workers there, as well as learning about their backstory was very informative. One person apparently had no experience whatsoever, but still got to where he is today! Then we were able to meet someone at our age that had more of a linear path, but also took different opportunities along the way. FreshBooks is a invoice and accounting software that is easy to use. It helps keep track of client lists, keep track of time spent on projects and one's expenses. What I found interesting about FreshBooks that it is indeed easy to navigate when going through the process of creating an invoice and various other options. I tend to stray away from anything that has to do with accounting, and funny thing is my friend is studying accounting as well. The culture at their company comprises of different production teams with similar skillsets thus, creating a team-centred environment.
